4年级上册新教材 Unit 5 Our new home 公开课教案
(Fun time and Cartoon time)

Step 1: Warm up and lead-in
1.Free talk
2.Sing a song: Where’s the bird? After it, ask: Where’s the bird now?
(设计意图:由小鸟作为线索贯穿整节课,并且Where’s...也是本节课的重难点句型,此首三年级学过的歌曲对学生而言比较简单,能让全体学生都参与课堂,活跃课堂气氛。)
3.Play a game: show a picture and say: Oh! The bird is flying in the sky happily. Let’s play a game with the bird. OK? After it, say: Look! The bird is in Su Hai and Su Yang’s new home now.
(设计意图:小鸟在天上飞,所遇到的云朵里有学生以前学过的单词以及本课中的新授单词,以旧知带动新知学习的欲望,并用这个新颖的游戏来吸引学生眼球,积极参与课堂活动。)
4.Revision :(1) Do you know what are they looking for?
(2)How do they talk?
(设计意图:复习第一课时Story time的主要内容。)
5.Let’s read: read the sentences together (pay attention to “Oh, my god! Come and look!”)
(设计意图:为下一环节的chant做铺垫。)
6.Let’s chant (T says the chant with actions first, then the students)
(设计意图:将Story time的主要内容改编成chant,并配上恰当的动作,这样更有利于学生的理解,且让更多的学生乐于学习。)
Step 2: Presentation
1.Learn the four rooms: go into Su Hai and Su Yang’s four rooms one by one
Learn :living room, bedroom, kitchen,bathroom
Present the four words and ask: What other rooms can you say?
(设计意图:在学会本课的新授单词以外,也要拓展学生的词汇量)
2.Learn the new words: Show the picture of Su Hai and Su Yang’s new home again and ask: What can you see?
Learn: table, fridge, clock
Present the three words and ask: Can you say other things in the rooms?
Step 3: Fun time
1.Let’s draw: T draws a fridge and two skirts first to give the Ss an example, then give Ss two minutes to choose one room to draw
2.Let’s say: ask: Where is my fridge? 引导学生回答It’s in the living room.并且板书句型,然后ask: Where are my skirts? 引导学生回答They are in the bedroom on the bed. 再让同桌彼此参观,互相问一问,说一说。
(设计意图:通过这个活动让学生区别Where is与Where are的区别以及回答。)
Step 4:Cartoon time
1.Guess:T: The bird is flying again. Where is it now?
S: It’s in a park.
T:Listen!Oh! The bird is crying. Why? Can you guess how is the bird?
(设计意图:发散学生的思维,给他们一个发挥丰富想象力的平台,并且让他们带着自己的想法去看动画。)
2.Watch the cartoon and answer :
How is the bird now?
Then listen and imitate the Picture 1
3.Read the text by yourselves and choose:
What would the bird like?
A. an orange B. a hot dog C. a worm
Then listen and imitate the Picture 3
(设计意图:通过两个问题来帮助学生了解Cartoon time的主要内容,且分图片听录音模仿为下面的分角色朗读做铺垫。)
4.Let’s listen
5.Let’s read
(Read after the tape ; Read after the teacher)
(设计意图:跟着录音一句一句地读让学生注意本节课中的几个比较难的连读,跟着老师一边读一边做动作,为下面的分角色扮演做准备。)
6.Happy reading: read in roles, read together, read after one
(设计意图:分层作业,因材施教,让学生根据自己本组内的具体情况选择自己喜欢的朗读方式,将主动权交给学生,让他们真正成为课堂的主体。)
7.Acting time: T gives the example first, then give 3 minutes to Ss to prepare
(设计意图:老师给了学生一个很好的示范后才能让学生发挥得更加出彩,老师和学生一起表演更能激发学生表演的欲望。)
Step 5: Production
1.Make a new dialogue:
T: The bird is full now and she invites Bobby and Sam to her home. Let’s go and have a look. (show the pictures of the bird’s living room, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom.) Now, Bobby and Sam are in the bird’s home. What are they talking about? Use the words and sentences you learn this unit to talk about the things in bird’s home. (分角色表演)
Bird: This is my home. Welcome to my home. This is my living room/kitchen...
Bobby:Wow!How beautiful/ special....I want to watch TV. /I’m hungry. Where is/are...?
Bird: It is/They are in the ....
(设计意图:最后小鸟将Bobby和Sam带到了她的家里,她家里东西的摆放很特别,为下面的情感教育做准备,并且这一拓展环节能够帮助学生运用前后所学的知识来编一段完整的对话,对学生而言是一种能力的提升。)
2.T引导情感:Remember: We should put our things in proper places.
Step 6: Homework
1. Watch the cartoon and imitate it, read it in emotion.
2. Finish the Fun time and make a dialogue with your parents or classmates
